FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY™
Fascial Stretch Therapy™ is an assisted table-based full body stretching system that focuses on the fascia as the key element in achieving optimal flexibility, balance, symmetry, strength and performance. This revolutionary pain-free system focuses on opening up the joints and focusing on fascia.
Fascia is the layers of connective tissue that envelops all structures of the body. Over time, with poor posture, lack of exercise, stress to the body, trauma, injury and over-training, fascia will thicken, shorten and build up adhesions. This can inhibit your movement, and cause tension, pain and instability in your body during your daily activities.

As a Level 3 Fascial Stretch Specialist, Exercise Therapist and certified Personal Trainer since 2005, I bring a vast amount of knowledge, experience, and perspective to help people of all ages and abilities reduce their pain, improve their functionality, and enhance their health & fitness.
My ultimate goal is to facilitate your achievement of any goal you may have that requires the use of your body. Can you think of one that doesn’t? Then through a systematic approach tailored to your abilities, you learn or re-learn fundamentals that are the foundation of optimal movement. Finally, we can focus on long-term health and fitness.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY INITIAL CONSULTATION?
First, we’ll review the Intake Form you’ve completed beforehand. We’ll discuss any details and review your goals and aspirations.
Second, we’ll complete an assessment of movements, ranges of motion and limitations.
Third, depending on your goals, I will either deliver an introductory Fascial Stretch Therapy treatment or we will start to work on fundamental movements.
Lastly, we’ll discuss how to proceed in the following sessions.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING AN FST TREATMENT?
You remain clothed and the fascial stretch therapy session takes place on a massage table. It incorporates comfortable straps used to stabilize the limbs or part of the body that is not being worked on. This facilitates relaxation and enhances the effectiveness of the technique. No part of the treatment should be painful and there is constant communication between the therapist and client to ensure that the experience is positive.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Please wear comfortable clothing that lets you move freely. Shorts or “workout pants” are best. Clean indoor shoes. No skirts, please. If you wear orthotics in your shoes, bring them. Also consider bringing a light sweater as some people tend to cool down when not moving on the treatment table.
ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY BENEFITS?
Generally, no. Although I am certified and insured to provide all my services, they are not yet recognized by many health benefits providers. But it never hurts to ask them.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR FST?
Not at all. Regardless of age, our bodies still work the same way and can benefit from treatment. Depending on your habits and history, the treatment process might take a little longer, but we can still make progress!
I'M A LARGER PERSON, CAN FST STILL WORK FOR ME?
Absolutely. In fact, much of the FST system was developed working on NFL players and other plus-sized individuals. Once again, our bodies still function the same way and can all benefit from improved mobility.
WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS?
I have a bachelors degree in biology and have been certified with CanFitPro as Personal Trainer Specialist since 2005. I obtained the highest level of certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy (Level 3) in 2017. This means I am one of only a few hundred in the world authorized to utilize the system at this level. I have also completed certification in Exercise Therapy, TRX Suspension Training, and specific courses in foot function, and core programming.
